The CIC Med Channel Race is a brand-new race and the first exclusively reserved for Class40s in the Mediterranean. A unique challenge that brings together professional skippers on a demanding and spectacular course. The route, raced in pairs in real life, tests sailors in a variety of challenging conditions: coastal strategy, offshore navigation, and managing the typical Mediterranean weather phenomena. The race starts from Marseille. Skippers will then head towards Corsica, round Sardinia, sail along the Balearic Islands, and return to Marseille after 1,000 nautical miles of sailing. On Virtual Regatta, the experience will remain true to reality, except that you will sail solo at the helm of your Class40. The goal remains the same: find the best trajectory, anticipate weather changes, and compete against the best sailors to cross the finish line first.
